CHARGESPOT to be Installed at 23 Sendai City Subway Stations

INFORICH Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director Group CEO: Hironori Akiyama; hereinafter "INFORICH"), which operates the mobile battery sharing service "CHARGESPOT™," and the Sendai City Transportation Bureau (Location: 1-4-15 Kimachidori, Aoba-ku, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture; Sendai City Transportation Business Administrator: Hiroaki Yoshino; hereinafter "Sendai City Transportation Bureau") have newly installed "CHARGESPOT" at 21 subway stations operated by the Sendai City Transportation Bureau. Including the existing 2 stations, the service will be rolled out at a total of 23 stations sequentially from January 2026, with installations completed at the target stations by March of the same year. Through resolving charging anxiety for subway users and ensuring access to information during disasters and emergencies, the aim is to create an environment where everyone can use urban transportation with peace of mind.

The Sendai City Subway is an urban transportation infrastructure consisting of two lines: the Namboku Line (Izumi-Chuo Station to Tomizawa Station) and the Tozai Line (Yagiyama Zoological Park Station to Arai Station). It is widely used by commuters and students, as well as domestic and international tourists and business travelers, and the demand for charging within stations has been continuously increasing with the rise in smartphone usage. Furthermore, there has been a growing demand for establishing an environment where passengers can reliably gather information and secure communication means during emergencies such as disasters, power outages, and communication failures. Against this backdrop, a significant expansion of "CHARGESPOT" installation stations has been decided.

Installation Period: January 2026 - March 2026

Installation Locations: 23 Sendai City Subway Stations (Namboku Line and Tozai Line)
