Champion Curry Announces New Management Structure: Yosuke Nakamura Appointed 4th President, Organizational Restructuring to Accelerate Growth

Champion Curry Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nonoichi City, Ishikawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Keita Minami; hereinafter "Champion Curry"), the originator of Kanazawa Curry, has decided to transition to a new management structure effective April 1, 2026. This is an "organizational refresh" aimed at achieving non-continuous growth, building upon the foundation established since its founding. With the appointment of the new representative, we will further enhance the speed and quality of decision-making and accelerate business expansion. Accordingly, Yosuke Nakamura will assume the position of the 4th Representative Director and President, and the current Representative Director, Keita Minami, will become Representative Director and Chairman.

Since the capital increase two years ago aimed at accelerating growth, we have consistently reviewed our business and organization through collaboration with our investment partners. In this process, to execute business development at an even faster pace in line with the changing phase, we have decided to adopt a multiple representative system involving a change in president. In conjunction with this, we will welcome new executives and reorganize the organization into a four-division system. This will enable us to further promote change with enhanced specialization and agility.

Under the new structure, we will continue to cherish the brand and traditions we have cultivated, while striving for further business expansion and the creation of new value.

I have been appointed as the 4th Representative Director and President of Champion Curry Co., Ltd. Since its founding in 1961, our company has sincerely embraced the weight of a history spanning 65 years, supported by and walking alongside the local community. I myself deeply love the taste of this "originator of Kanazawa Curry" and experience the happiness that a single dish brings every day. Food is a crucial element that enriches life. I believe my greatest mission is to deliver this unique deliciousness to even more people and expand the circle of smiles. Going forward, I will leverage the knowledge cultivated throughout my career, cherish the traditions that must be preserved, and continue to take on new challenges that capture the changes of the times. With pride in being continuously loved by the community, I am committed to the further development of Champion Curry and the creation of a rich food culture.

Biography of Representative Director and President Yosuke Nakamura

Graduated from Kanazawa Institute of Technology. After joining FamilyMart Co., Ltd., he engaged in management improvement for 250 stores (over 100 corporations) as a field SV. He handled product evaluation and sales consulting for over 50,000 items, promoting profit improvement from a field perspective. Recognizing his achievements, he was selected as a business reform member directly under the president in 2017. He led store operation reforms, including the introduction of self-checkout systems and the establishment of mechanisms for food loss reduction. He also participated in company-wide projects such as the launch of experimental stores. In 2025, he joined Champion Curry Co., Ltd.

Thank you for your continued exceptional support. Effective April 1st, our company will transition to a multiple representative system. Accordingly, I will retire as president on the same day and will support the new structure as chairman.
