CellFiber to Co-Host Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) Culture Technology Experience Workshop with Cytiva

CellFiber Inc. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Kazuchika Furuishi), a company aiming to contribute to cell medicine through cell culture technology, will co-host a Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) Culture Technology Experience Workshop utilizing CellFiber® technology with Cytiva, a global provider of biopharmaceutical manufacturing, on April 24, 2026.

CellFiber® technology is CellFiber's unique next-generation platform that can efficiently produce high-quality cells. It is an encapsulation technology that forms a tubular structure with alginate gel and protects cells inside the tube. Cells cultured with this technology are expected to maintain and improve cell function, have long-term viability, and uniform quality compared to conventional methods.

This seminar is the first joint workshop by CellFiber and Cytiva. Its purpose is to provide a concrete understanding of the implementation image of MSC culture, from research applications to manufacturing and commercialization. Through the seminar, participants can experience the "next-generation MSC culture workflow" that combines CellFiber's innovative cell culture technology with Cytiva's bioreactors (such as Xuri™) which are excellent for scale-up.
