CDEF Inc. Certified as 'DX Certified Operator' by METI

CDEF Inc. (Headquarters: Chichibu, Saitama; Representative Director: Takahisa Yokota), a developer of products and security services for embedded, IoT, and OT (Operational Technology) systems, is pleased to announce that it has been certified as a 'DX Certified Operator' under the DX Certification System established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as of June 1, 2026. This certification recognizes businesses that have formulated management visions and strategies utilizing digital technology and are actively working toward their realization. By providing security management services utilizing cloud and automation technologies to the embedded and industrial equipment sectors—areas where digitalization has historically been challenging—CDEF contributes to the DX and security enhancement of its clients' entire supply chains. The DX Certification System is a national program where the government certifies businesses that have prepared for DX promotion in accordance with the 'Digital Governance Code.' The screening is conducted by the Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA). Certified businesses are listed on the METI website and become eligible for various financial support measures, tax incentives, and subsidies. CDEF combines its expertise in embedded and real-time system development with cloud and CI/CD technologies to practice high-level, efficient engineering even on a small scale. The company is currently planning to commercialize its cloud-based 'SBOM Tracker' service, which centrally manages Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and vulnerability information, and is also working toward obtaining ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001) certification to establish a secure service delivery system for its clients.
