This exhibition is being specially held in Karuizawa, the hometown of the protagonist To-y and a setting depicted in the work, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the 'To-y' serialization. In addition to displaying valuable original manuscripts, reproductions of original drawings will also be exhibited and sold.
For the talk event, manga artist Hiroyuki Asada, known for his representative works such as 'I'll' and 'Tegami Bachi,' will be invited as a guest. They will discuss valuable topics that can only be heard here, such as the relationship between 'To-y' and Karuizawa. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of its serialization, various solo exhibitions and events are being held in different locations.

Atsushi Kamijo / ATSUSHI KAMIJO
Born in Tokyo in 1963. Debuted in 1983 with 'Mop★Hunter' in 'Shonen Sunday Special Edition.'
From 1985, he serialized 'To-y' in 'Weekly Shonen Sunday.' His sharp drawings and unique keen sense have gained the support of many fans. His representative works include 'SEX,' 'Red x Black,' and '8 -EIGHT-.'
In September 2024, an exhibition was held at Yayoi Museum in Tokyo to commemorate his 40th anniversary. From 2025 to 2026, various solo exhibitions and events are being held in various locations to commemorate the 40th anniversary of 'To-y.'
