Calbee, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Makoto Ehara) is pleased to announce that it was certified as an 'Excellent Corporation for Food Education Practice 2026' by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on April 1st.

**- Overview of 'Excellent Corporation for Food Education Practice' and Our Initiatives -**

With the externalization of meals, a trend toward convenience, and decreased consumption of vegetables and fruits becoming more apparent, there is a growing need to promote 'food education for adults.' This system certifies and honors corporations that implement initiatives contributing to the improvement of their employees' dietary habits.

The Calbee Group has been seriously engaged in health management since 2016, based on the belief that the health of its employees and their families is essential for corporate growth. We have been promoting initiatives to support both mental and physical health. These include employee participation in food education outreach classes at elementary schools nationwide, providing nutritionally balanced meal menus and nutritional information displays at factory cafeterias, and conducting health awareness activities. In addition, we began providing 'Frugra®' at our head office in January 2026.
