Main Initiatives for Co-creation and Collaboration with Tsurugashima City
Strengthening the Supply of Daily Necessities During Disasters and Disaster Prevention Cooperation in Peacetime
Based on the "Agreement on Cooperation in the Supply of Daily Necessities During Disasters" concluded in 2012, in the event of a disaster, upon request from Tsurugashima City, we will supply daily necessities and work supplies from our logistics warehouses and stores. At the same time, we are working to improve the region's disaster prevention capabilities through cooperation in disaster prevention measures during peacetime.
Support for Heatstroke Prevention and Health Promotion Utilizing Stores
In recent years, intense heat has become a serious risk comparable to disasters, and the importance of heatstroke prevention is increasing. At the Tsurugashima store, the in-store food court is planned to be available as a "cooling shelter" for citizens to spend time safely during business hours. In addition, health-related events and lectures will be held utilizing the store's space to support citizens' health promotion.
