(Head office: Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City; President: Gyeong-seop Ryang) and Tateishi Foods Co., Ltd. (Head office: Tachiarai-machi, Mitsui-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture; President: Gyeong-seop Ryang), announce their merger effective April 1, 2026. Tateishi Foods will be the surviving company, absorbing Mamejirou.

Mamejirou acquired all shares of Tateishi Foods in February 2026, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary, and the merger was decided with the aim of integrated management of the food business and optimization of management resources. The mobile sales brand "Mamejirou" will continue even after the merger.

Background and Purpose Tateishi Foods is a processed marine product manufacturer founded in 1958. For many years, it has supported the local food culture through the production of kamaboko (fish cake) and tempura (fried fish paste). On the other hand, Mamejirou has built a community-based sales network through mobile sales of tofu and soy products. Looking towards sustainable growth in the future, the companies will transition to an integrated business structure that leverages each other's strengths.
