Burton will begin selling special "Celebration Snowboards" on April 14 (Tuesday) at Burton Flagship Store Tokyo, Burton Store Kanda, and Burton.com. These snowboards celebrate the achievements of team riders Mari Fukada, Teikatsu Hasegawa, and Mitsuki Ono in the current season. The "Celebration Snowboards" are based on the "From Burton to the World" snowboards, which were released in January and featured iconic quotes from founder Jake Burton Carpenter. The new limited-edition boards feature specific color schemes: Mari Fukada's model is gold, Teikatsu Hasegawa's model is silver, and Mitsuki Ono's model is bronze, all mixed with a black top sheet and printed with their respective logos and signature graphics. Each board is priced at ¥68,000 (¥74,800 including tax) and available in 149cm and 155cm sizes. Burton's operations are guided by its corporate purpose, which focuses on "People," "Planet," and "Snowboarding." This includes ensuring fair wages, responsible sourcing, minimizing environmental impact, reducing CO2 emissions, and creating durable products. The company aims to achieve climate positive status by 2025, aligning with SBTi for carbon footprint reduction and advocating for structural change. Burton was the first snowboard company to receive B Corporation certification in 2019 and was re-certified in 2024 across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific for its Burton and Anon brands.
