Bungeishunju Ltd. (Representative Director: Naruyuki Iikubo) released its literary magazine "Bungakukai" June 2026 issue today, May 7. In addition to Yasutaka Tsutsui's first hard-boiled mystery "The Hitman Comes from Detroit," new novellas by Suzumi Suzuki, Sayoko Okuno, and Takashi Fukumi are featured. Starting from this issue, a new serialization of correspondence between Kaori Ekuni and Hitomi Kanehara, and an essay series "Drunken Craft" by Misato Konari, focusing on "sake × craft," will begin. The special feature "The Past and Future of Book Design" is also noteworthy.
