TOCKLE's Commitment to Safety
1: Focus on Rural Areas, Not Urban
Buses and railways are facing deficits, reduced services, and driver shortages, putting "local transportation" in a crisis of survival. TOCKLE aims to resolve these "transportation deserts" in rural areas. Furthermore, rural areas, compared to urban areas, have less traffic and wider roads, making them easier to operate safely. For these two reasons—solving local issues and ensuring safety—TOCKLE primarily focuses on deployment in rural areas.
2: Preventing Entry into Dangerous Areas with Geofencing Function
TOCKLE is equipped with a safety system called "geofencing function" that detects the driving area via GPS and stops the vehicle if it enters a specific area. The "no-entry zones" set by geofencing can be flexibly configured by local governments according to local conditions.
3: Complete Prohibition of Night Operations
In the electric mobility industry, "nighttime is prime earning time" is common knowledge, as people who miss the last train use it for long-distance commutes home. However, the reality of the industry is that a significant number of people ride after drinking during late hours. It goes without saying that safety is more important than profit. Therefore, TOCKLE does not operate at night in any region.
