Mobility Demonstration Project Utilizing TOCKLE Starts in Yoro Keikoku Onsenkyo

BRJ Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hideaki Miyauchi; hereinafter "BRJ"), which develops safe electric mobility solutions to resolve local "transportation deserts," commenced a "Regional Mobility Demonstration Project in Yoro Keikoku Onsenkyo" in Chiba Prefecture from March 28.

Yoro Keikoku Demonstration Project

Background Yoro Keikoku Onsenkyo is a popular tourist area dotted with spectacular scenery, hot springs, and gourmet food. However, private cars account for 80% of visitors, and day-trippers make up 79%, indicating an imbalance in transportation methods and length of stay. BRJ conducted a demonstration experiment in Otaki Town, Chiba Prefecture, in 2025. Leveraging the knowledge gained from that experience, this demonstration experiment aims to enhance connectivity between tourist spots and promote regional revitalization while ensuring safety, by introducing electric assist bicycles and three-wheeled electric seated boards.
