The maternal and child health handbook app 'Boshimo,' operated by Boshimo Inc., has been introduced in Achi Village, Shimoina District, Nagano Prefecture, and will be available starting Wednesday, April 1st, as the 'Achikko Childcare Support App.' Achi Village promotes 'community-nurtured childcare support,' aiming to create an environment where children can grow healthily and to build a community that understands and supports children and families for the future. 'Boshimo,' which allows for the digital recording of paper maternal and child health handbook data and has been introduced in over 830 municipalities, has been adopted in line with the Children and Families Agency's policy to promote the use of digital versions of maternal and child health handbooks and maternal and child health DX. 'Boshimo' is an app that easily supports vaccination scheduling, health checkup result management, and local information distribution via smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Since data is stored in the cloud, it serves as a backup in case of loss of the paper handbook due to disasters, and it also supports continuous use when moving to other municipalities or changing devices, allowing for peace of mind. The Achi Village Children and Family Center implements various measures for all pregnant women and children from 0 to 18 years old and their families to support healthy growth. The app provides information on various systems and services, health records, vaccination management, and advice, helping busy parents. The 'Milestone Anniversary' feature allows users to record growth with photos and messages, serving as a guide for development. In times of social change, the app enables the immediate delivery of important information from the local government to those who need it.
