UNROOF, a leather goods brand operated by Borderless Japan (HQ: Fukuoka, CEO: Kazunari Taguchi), has created original leather book covers inspired by the Edo-period novels of Miyuki Miyabe to commemorate her 40th anniversary as a novelist in 2027. This collaboration marks the fourth installment of the UNROOF 'Novelist Collection.'

Inspired by Miyabe's numerous Edo novels, this limited-edition project fuses traditional 'Edo Sarasa' kimono fabric patterns with UNROOF's unique adjustable structure that adapts to the thickness of the book. It is designed to be a product that grows alongside the stories that continue to be read and loved.
