Following the simultaneous release of the 'Grimm Connect 1' novel and manga adaptation, as well as the 'Blue Roar Planet 1' tankobon on March 25, 2026, we have seen very strong sales trends in the first week, contrary to the recent slump in the publishing industry! Through active collaboration with bookstores, we have expanded awareness of our label and expect this to be a catalyst for reaching a wider range of readers. Previously, Dangan Bunko operated as a digital-only label, so there was uncertainty regarding how well print versions would sell. However, contrary to those concerns, we have had a strong start. We have seen an increase in reader feedback, particularly on social media, and support illustrations released immediately after the launch have also yielded significant results. The 'Dangan Comics' line, which was unveiled for the first time, is also off to a good start, with the tankobon and the serialization on Nico Nico Manga generating buzz, including exceeding 10,000 PV within 24 hours of release. Regarding our bookstore initiatives, we have been able to expand significantly since our launch. In particular, partnerships with stores such as Kumazawa Shoten Okazaki-Kita, Wonder Land Namba, Makuhari Tsutaya Books, and Junkudo have led to a rapid expansion of awareness among new readers. Furthermore, specialty stores with strengths in light novel sales, such as Animate, Melonbooks, and Gamers, have successfully promoted sales through focused distribution of store-exclusive benefits.
