Episode 4, 'Trainees' Motivation,' centers on the 'rivalry' among trainees of the same cohort. 'Kanata,' the big-mouthed one, and 'Seira,' the perfectionist. As these two strong-willed individuals clash intensely during training, the instructors observe them with different perspectives. 'Kanata' and 'Seira' glare at each other as if sparks are flying. Veteran instructor 'Namase' shows his broad-mindedness, while rookie instructor 'Machida' resolves to be a proper instructor. Please pay attention to their respective performances.

Have you ever thought to yourself, or been told by others, 'You really did well in such a short time'?

Hosoda-san:

There was a period where I had to gain weight for my role, and the director told me, 'Can you gain weight by the costume fitting?' It was only two weeks before the shoot. I gained 13kg in two weeks.

Machida-san:

That's amazing, but you'd want a little more time, right? (Laughter from everyone)

Anzai-san:

When I was 19, I went to climb Mt. Fuji, and I decided I wanted to climb it in one day. It took about 15 hours round trip. (To the surprised pair) That was me trying hard in a short period.

Machida-san:

The summit was just a transit point. (Laughter from everyone) Because, after finally climbing up, you feel a sense of accomplishment, thinking 'Ahhh~', and you do various things while drinking coffee.

Anzai-san:

But I just took photos and came back down (laughs).

Machida-san:

In high school, there was a '50km Race Walk Competition.' Regardless of gender, from first-year to third-year students, it started at 6 AM, and 'Ready, Set, Go!' (laughs). We'd usually finish in about six and a half hours. After everyone crossed the finish line, they'd drag themselves to the dormitory's communal bath and say, 'Ah, this feels good~'. And the next day, the dormitory would turn into BIOHAZARD. (Laughter from everyone)

Anzai-san:

Because our bodies were so stiff.

Machida-san:

50km is truly insane. There were snacks provided along the way, and at the 40km mark, I ate a banana and felt my energy rapidly recover. I've loved bananas ever since. So, when it comes to 'doing well in a short time,' I want to say it to the bananas! (Laughter from everyone)
