RVCA Announces First Collaboration 'LIONS TOKYO COLLECTION' with NY-based Tattoo Artist FERNANDO LIONS

RVCA is pleased to announce the first collaboration with Fernando Lions, a tattoo artist based in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, titled 'LIONS TOKYO COLLECTION'.

This collection was made possible through Lions' long-standing relationship with RVCA. He participates annually in the group art exhibition 'SUPER FRIENDS!' held at the RVCA SHIBUYA STORE and is a figure who resonates deeply with the brand's culture.

FERNANDO LIONS A tattoo artist based in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. He runs his private studio 'Street Dreams' and is known for expressions that fuse classic New York tattoo styles with his own unique sensibility. Influenced by his travels, counter-culture, art, and the real people living in the city, his work possesses a one-of-a-kind presence.

In this collection, Lions presents graphics based on the 'Shibuya Hachiko Statue' which made a strong impression during his first visit to Tokyo, reconstructed through his unique interpretation. Incorporating mechanical elements into a futuristic worldview, he subtly weaves in RVCA store details, fusing memories of Tokyo with street culture.

The lineup includes T-shirts, shirts, and big towels. The collection traverses elements of tattoo and street art, embodying RVCA's philosophy of 'crossing the boundaries between art and fashion'.
