Background of the Dream

Recently, various companies have started participating in initiatives for accompanying families, recognizing the high potential of these partners and the necessity of support from a well-being and risk management perspective. However, these efforts have not yet reached all those who need them.

Due to the complexities of HR evaluations and the strong self-reliance of accompanying partners, this issue often remains unaddressed. Board & Beyond aims to bridge the gap between accompanying families and dispatching companies, striving for a future where families can "soar globally together" and "expatriate families don't have to give up on either career or family."

Current Initiatives

Since around its establishment in October 2025, our company has been exploring the possibility of reframing career breaks for accompanying partners from a "personal choice" or "family issue" to a "structural challenge of expatriation," while also seeking partner companies. Furthermore, since January 2026, we have been hosting monthly free webinars for HR personnel and expatriate family members.

Future Initiatives

While we have primarily explored B2B possibilities until now, going forward, we aim to directly respond to the proactive spirit of accompanying partners who say, "I want to stay positively connected to society and continue to provide value, no matter the environment. I don't want to give up on my career or my family." To achieve this, we plan to develop services for expatriate families and individuals.

We will provide a learning environment where participants can consider and acquire "skills to pursue both career and life as a family team," useful not only during the expatriation period but also throughout their lives. By basing careers on "family well-being," we will realize a future where dreams and careers are not abandoned due to changes in life stages.
