Notice of Business Succession of 'Yugawara Ohnoya'

Blue Sky Associates Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Taketo Kaneko) has succeeded the business of the hot spring inn "Yugawara Ohnoya" located at 231 Izumi, Atami City, in collaboration with the regional financial institution Sagami Shinkin Bank. Upon this business succession, with the support of Sagami Shinkin Bank, our company acquired all the land and buildings related to the inn, re-employed the employees at our subsidiary Ever Blue Sky Co., Ltd., and commenced operations on the same day.

Yugawara Ohnoya was founded by an individual in 1941, incorporated in 1958, and the current Chitosekan was newly built in 1959. It has a long history of being deeply rooted in the local community since then. In addition, the inn holds a share of a high-temperature, high-quality spring source near Fudo Waterfall, and is deeply popular as a rare hot spring inn that supplies source water not only to the large public bath but also to each guest room. On the other hand, the inn had been facing challenges such as the absence of a successor. Our company succeeded the business to create synergies by operating multiple facilities in the region and to increase the added value of the inn, including a support system from the head office.

Entering its 15th term, Blue Sky Associates Co., Ltd. is expanding its business with three core pillars: financial advisory business, real estate consulting business, and regional revitalization business.

Through its subsidiary, our company already operates HOTEL FARO manazuru in Manazuru Town in the same area, and La Classe de Cienega in Yugawara Town (currently under renovation, scheduled for renewal opening after rebranding in July 2026). Although spanning different administrative districts, this is the 3rd facility operated in the same area and the 9th facility for the company overall.

Based on the concept of utilizing and maximizing local assets, we will continue to actively expand as a receptacle for business succession in collaboration with regional financial institutions.
