BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE IN HAKATA

Blue Bottle Coffee Japan LLC (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce the opening of "Blue Bottle Coffee Hakata Cafe," its second store in Kyushu, in front of Hakata Station, the gateway to Kyushu, in the summer of 2026. In February 2024, we opened our first Kyushu store, "Blue Bottle Coffee Fukuoka Tenjin Cafe," in the Keigo Shrine Shrine Office Building, delivering a rich coffee experience to many guests, both domestic and international. With the desire to deliver our coffee experience to even more guests, we have decided to open our second Kyushu store in the "Nishinihon City Building," currently under construction in front of Hakata Station.

To commemorate the opening of the second store, a mobile cafe, "Blue Bottle Coffee Truck," will be set up for a limited time from May 15 (Fri) to July 9 (Thu) before the opening, at "Canal City Hakata," a large-scale complex commercial facility in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, with the concept of "urban theater." The "Blue Bottle Coffee Truck" is a mobile cafe equipped with an espresso machine, mounted on a classic vehicle featuring the brand logo. It offers espresso drinks using the "Outdoor Blend," specially developed for outdoor scenes, as well as non-coffee drinks such as Yuzu Lemonade. We have previously operated the Blue Bottle Coffee Truck in Fukuoka at Ohori Park and Keigo Shrine, delivering a unique coffee experience to many people in the Fukuoka area. For this appearance at Canal City Hakata, we aim to provide an experience that can only be enjoyed here in Fukuoka, by offering a lineup of limited-edition ice cream menus. We have also prepared limited-edition keychains available only at the coffee truck.

We invite you to stop by the Blue Bottle Coffee Truck during your shopping or stroll, or as a companion for your walk along the canal. We would be delighted if you could enjoy a moment of relaxation. We look forward to meeting everyone in the Fukuoka area.

## COFFEE TRUCK LIMITED MENU

The Blue Bottle Coffee Truck, equipped with an espresso machine, will offer drinks using the "Outdoor Blend" developed for outdoor coffee experiences as espresso. While the coffee beans can be enjoyed at home, the expertly brewed cup can only be experienced at the coffee truck. To offer an even more special experience, we have prepared "Milk Ice Cream with Strawberry Jam" available only at this coffee truck. Additionally, we will offer refreshing drinks perfect for early summer like "Yuzu Lemonade" and "Blue Bottle Coffee Pale Ale," as well as juices for families to enjoy.

**Outdoor Blend**

The "Outdoor Blend" was created with the desire to make the coffee experience outdoors even more special. Based on Ethiopian and Colombian coffee beans roasted to a slightly deeper roast, we add Ethiopian coffee roasted to a lighter roast as an accent. This creates a well-balanced blend with a deep, rich caramel-like sweetness and a touch of floral aroma. When freshly brewed, you can sense caramel and cocoa-like flavors, and as it cools, the accent of bright, floral notes emerges, leading to a more complex taste. Enjoy it as a "Caffe Americano" that clearly brings out the original character of the beans, or as a "Caffe Latte," where the depth of espresso and caramel-like sweetness harmonize with light milk.

This ice cream, perfect for enjoying with coffee on a bright early summer day, is now available exclusively at the coffee truck. Featuring Bieibetsu single-origin milk ice cream from the craft ice cream brand "HiO ICE CREAM," based in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo, it is topped with vibrant strawberry jam. The sweet and sour strawberry jam and the rich flavor of the milk ice cream create a refreshing aftertaste, perfect for hot weather. Please enjoy a relaxing moment with coffee while feeling the gentle spring breeze.

Launched in the spring of 2022, the Blue Bottle Coffee Truck has traveled to various regions across the country, including areas without cafes, delivering the Blue Bottle Coffee experience to many guests. Featuring the coffee truck as its motif, this original keychain, with charms of the bottle logo and a takeaway cup, is available exclusively at the coffee truck. The rounded coffee truck and the simple logo charms are items that add a touch of color to everyday moments.

## SPECIAL STICKER

During the event period, guests who purchase one drink and one other item at the Blue Bottle Coffee Truck will receive one limited-edition design sticker. The sticker features illustrations of the characteristically rounded coffee truck, the bottle logo, and the limited ice cream, making it a unique item obtainable only here. Quantities are limited and will end once supplies are exhausted.
