BLAZE to Host First Test-Drive Event for License-Free 4-Wheel Electric Vehicle "BLAZE e-CARGO" at Headquarters

BLAZE Co., Ltd. (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; Representative Director: Hideyuki Ichikawa; hereinafter "BLAZE") will host a test-drive event and display vehicle sales event for various electric mobility products at its headquarters in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, for four days: June 20, 21, 27, and 28, 2026.

At this event, visitors can test-drive 11 electric mobility models developed by BLAZE, including the new 4-wheel specified small motorized bicycle "BLAZE e-CARGO."

High Demand for Test-Drives Nationwide Leading to First Headquarters Event

Since the release of the "BLAZE e-CARGO" in April 2026, BLAZE has received numerous inquiries from across Japan from customers asking where they can test-drive the vehicle, wishing to experience the ride quality, or looking to recommend it to family members and elderly parents.

In response to this growing demand, BLAZE decided to hold its first-ever test-drive event for the "BLAZE e-CARGO" at its headquarters in Nagoya.

"Mini Kei-Truck" License-Free 4-Wheel Electric Vehicle "BLAZE e-CARGO"

The "BLAZE e-CARGO" belongs to the "specified small motorized bicycle" category, which can be driven by anyone aged 16 or older without a driver's license.

While it is more compact than a light truck (kei-truck), it offers high loading capacity and stability that conventional motorized bicycles or bicycles cannot match, featuring a large cargo bed. It is also designed for convenient daily use, allowing users to charge it easily from a standard household outlet.

With its stable 4-wheel structure and a maximum speed limited to 20 km/h, even those who feel anxious about driving can use it with peace of mind.

It is attracting attention as a practical transport option for senior citizens who have returned their driver's licenses, allowing them to travel independently to their destinations without relying on family members.

As a practical alternative to conventional mobility scooters (seniacar), it is expected to support short-distance travel such as daily shopping and hospital visits.

The cargo bed can hold about two shopping baskets and supports a maximum load of 30 kg. It can be used for small package deliveries, patrols, moving within facilities, transporting materials in agriculture, event setup, cleaning/facility management, security/maintenance, and mobile sales.

BLAZE offers a total of 11 electric mobility vehicles, including the 4-wheel "BLAZE e-CARGO," 2-wheel specified small motorized bicycles, electric motorcycles, and electric mini-cars.

On the day of the event, visitors can compare these models side-by-side to choose the best vehicle for their lifestyle and needs. This allows them to experience attributes that are hard to convey in catalogs, such as quietness, acceleration, and handling.
