・ A research team consisting of Kohei Watabe, curator, and Hirokazu Fukutomi, curator, from Ishikawa Insect Museum, and Shunsuke Imada, curator, from Lake Biwa Museum, Shiga, investigated the family Anthribidae in Ishikawa Prefecture and newly discovered 7 species that had not been found in Ishikawa Prefecture before.

・ This research achievement was published in "Hoshizaki Green Foundation Research Report No. 29," issued by the Hoshizaki Green Foundation (a public interest incorporated foundation that conducts projects related to the protection and breeding of wild animals and plants with the aim of contributing to the conservation of the natural environment).

・ The "Furekon News No. 7" corner on the 1st floor specimen section of Ishikawa Insect Museum will exhibit an explanation of the paper, actual specimens, and the published paper.

・ This discovery is expected to be useful for the creation of the Ishikawa Prefecture Red List, among other things, and will provide information that can be utilized for ecological elucidation and conservation.
