'atelier Tea Time' is a popular event that has been held since 2024 to coincide with the season when 'shincha' (new tea) hits the market. In addition to enjoying the taste of 'Matcha', which is the key to the deliciousness of the popular Kyoto souvenir 'Kyobaum', the event allows visitors to feel closer to the charm of tea through experiences such as wagashi (Japanese sweets) making and matcha whisking.

[Point 1] Experiential programs to touch artisan skills and learn the depth of tea The 'Wagashi Making Experience', which received a great response last year, will be held again this year. Participants will make traditional fresh Japanese sweets (Jonamagashi) alongside a baumkuchen artisan who has experience as a wagashi maker, and enjoy them with matcha they whisk themselves. Furthermore, the 'Matcha Whisking Experience', available for those who make purchases within the facility, allows visitors to learn the secrets of the matcha used in Kyobaum while enjoying a pairing of Kyobaum and matcha.

[Point 2] Exclusive matcha-filled menus available only here At the 'Kyobaum Cafe' on the 3rd floor, a 'Fluffy Matcha Tiramisu' featuring matcha mascarpone cream prepared fresh in the kitchen every morning will be introduced. At the 'Tamago no Okashiya' on the 1st floor, a matcha-scented cream puff, where the cream is piped in only after an order is placed, will be sold in limited quantities.
