Belco Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka Prefecture) is pleased to announce its sole sponsorship of the new BS Tele-Higashi program, "The Delicious Time That Person Loved ~Thank You for the Meal, Thank You~," which will air every Thursday from 8:55 PM to 9:00 PM, beginning on April 2, 2026.

This program is a mini-documentary series centered on the theme of "memorable dishes shared with the deceased." A dish shared with a loved one on that day—its taste and aroma bring back irreplaceable memories.

The program will feature heartwarming stories shared over meals that hold special memories of the deceased. From gentle narratives that everyone can relate to, to poignant episodes that touch upon the depths of life, we will offer a time to reflect on the bonds with the deceased through the medium of "food."

We aim to provide viewers with a comforting moment that feels as if they are once again connecting with their loved ones.

First Broadcast (Episode 1) Details

The guest for the first episode is actor Susumu Terajima. He will visit "Unatetsu" in Soshigaya-Okura, a restaurant filled with memories of his fellow actor, Komatsu, who passed away last year.

He will reminisce about the deceased while savoring eel skewers.
