The upcoming chapters and collaborations announced include: - 'Dead by Daylight: Jason': Featuring the iconic character Jason Voorhees, scheduled for release on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, across all platforms. - 'Dead by Daylight: The Life Road': An original chapter focusing on an Indigenous survivor, set for release on Friday, June 26, 2026. - 'Dead by Daylight: Chorus of Sin': A community co-developed chapter, planned for release in August 2026. - 'Dead by Daylight: Terrifier': Featuring Art the Clown, scheduled for release in November 2026. - A new chapter based on 'The Casting of Frank Stone': A narrative horror adventure set in a different timeline, planned for 2027.

For gameplay and visuals, a phased roll-out of major visual updates will begin in 2027. This includes new character animations and facial expressions, improved map textures, enhanced fog and haze effects, and additional environmental elements. A dynamic weather system featuring light rain, heavy rain, and storms will also be introduced, along with new voice lines for selected original characters.

Furthermore, new game modes will be added over the coming years: - '1v1 Mode': A pure confrontation between a Killer and a Survivor, removing perks and items. - 'Zombie Mode': A zombie apocalypse scenario where zombies spawn in the map and survivors can turn into zombies upon infection.
