Route Inn BC League to Hold Large-Scale Data Measurement Event with Approximately 240 Participants

The Route Inn BC League (Baseball Challenge League), an independent professional baseball league, will hold a "Performance Data Measurement Event" for its players over two days, Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

This event is a large-scale initiative involving approximately 240 players. Its goal is to visualize each individual's current standing by collectively acquiring specialized data on body composition, athletic ability, pitching, and hitting.

While the Route Inn BC League has previously conducted data measurements to support players aiming for the NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) or overseas leagues, this year's event deepens that positioning. It marks a strategic shift from mere "measurement" to active "development."

On the days of the event, specialized measurements of athletic fitness, baseball skills, and body composition will be conducted. Individual reports will be created for each player at a later date, providing them with the opportunity to recognize their strengths and areas for improvement through data and translate those insights into future growth.

Furthermore, this measurement event is designed to provide continuous growth support, including feedback sessions following the measurements and re-measurements throughout the season.

The data obtained will be accumulated as an asset to support player growth. By communicating this value to NPB and overseas clubs, the league also aims to create new opportunities for its players.

Leveraging the flexibility and speed unique to an independent league, the Route Inn BC League will continue to build a new development model starting from data, creating an environment that expands the potential of its players.

Features of the Event

This event is not designed to be a one-off measurement; it is part of a continuous development program to support player growth.

• After the measurements, a performance data feedback session will be held for all players to assist in understanding the data and clarifying individual challenges.

• Re-measurements for selected players are scheduled for around September 2026 to visualize growth since the April measurements. This activity aims for continuous performance improvement and the setting of next goals.
