Basefood Announces Supplier Contract with Sorato Anraku, Silver Medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics

Anraku, who simultaneously won the annual overall titles in Bouldering and Lead at the 2023 World Cup and secured a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, will now be supported by Basefood.

Born in 2006 in Chiba Prefecture, Sorato Anraku is a professional sport climber affiliated with JSOL Corporation. He made his senior debut at age 16 and became a globally recognized athlete by winning both the Bouldering and Lead annual overall titles at the 2023 World Cup. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, he won a silver medal, achieving a historic first for Japanese male climbers. Aiming not only for personal growth but also to inspire others and elevate the climbing community, Anraku is a rising star expected to lead the future of sport climbing.
