Sakakaku Sōhonpo Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1889 (Meiji 22) in Yokosuka (present-day Tōkai City, Aichi Prefecture), the company takes its name from its founder, Sakakaku Kakujirō. Centered on the shrimp cracker 'Yukari'—developed through innovation on 'ebihanpei,' a delicacy offered to the Tokugawa family during the Edo period—the company creates confections that make the most of nature's bounty.

In April 2026, the company celebrated its 137th anniversary since founding.
