From the following year, they held limited-time sales a total of five times at JR Nagoya Takashimaya, continuously reviewing and improving their menu. On October 17, 2024, as part of their 135th-anniversary project, they opened their first permanent store, "BANKAKU KITCHEN Aoi Store," in Higashi Ward.

Bankaku Sohonten was founded in 1889 (Meiji 22) in Yokosuka (present-day Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture), taking its name from its founder, Kakujiro Ban. The company primarily produces "Yukari" shrimp crackers, which were created through continuous innovation based on "ebi hanpei" (shrimp paste cakes) that were presented to the Tokugawa family during the Edo period.
