Hiroko Kitayama, representative of Baby & Kids Peace (Sapporo) and an active freelance childcare worker, is providing a fully one-on-one 'Freelance Childcare Worker Startup Course' as an initiative to expand career options for childcare workers.

Currently, about 60% of childcare qualification holders are considered 'potential childcare workers,' with many unable to fully utilize their qualifications and experience. This course aims to realize a society where childcare workers can work with pride as professionals by expanding their career options through the new workstyle of freelance childcare worker.

◆ About the Startup Course 'with you program' This course is a fully one-on-one online course for those who want to start working as a freelance childcare worker. It consists of six sessions, supporting all necessary processes from organizing individual strengths and experiences to service design, startup preparation, and document creation. Because it is taken online, it is available anywhere in the country.

We are conducting free individual consultations for those considering enrollment.

◆ Representative Comments Recently, a childcare worker shortage is being shouted across the country, but I do not think so. I feel that it is not that there are few childcare workers, but that there are few options to continue working. I don't want all childcare workers to be independent. However, I want them to know that there are options other than 'continuing as it is' when they are troubled by changes in workstyles or life stages.
