The "Touken Ranbu - ICE BLADE -" Production Committee has released the newly drawn character visual "Heshikiri Hasebe Image on Ice ver." for the ice show "Touken Ranbu - ICE BLADE -," scheduled to be held at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium in October 2026.

The released "Heshikiri Hasebe Image on Ice ver." is a special depiction of Heshikiri Hasebe, newly drawn for this performance by the original staff of Touken Ranbu ONLINE.

Heshikiri Hasebe is a uchigatana believed to have been forged by the swordsmith Hasebe Kunishige of the Nanbokucho period. Its name is said to originate from an anecdote where Oda Nobunaga, in a fit of rage, cut down a tea ceremony attendant who had been disrespectful, along with the shelf he was standing on. It later passed to the Kuroda family and is now known as a National Treasure, a sword with a fierce history.

Its straightforwardness, valuing loyalty to its master above all else, and its blade-like intensity, willing to perform any dirty work. The moment these two intersect will be expressed on a new stage, the ice, utilizing the sense of speed and realism unique to figure skating.

To the pinnacle of "physical expression" ── Anticipation for Original Costumes

This newly drawn illustration is an image visual. For the performance, we will deliver special costumes tailored for skating.

Touken Ranbu's next challenge is "overwhelming speed" and "physical expression on ice."

About "Touken Ranbu ONLINE"

Developed and operated by DMM GAMES, with world-building, scenario, and character design handled by Nitroplus, the sword training simulation game "Touken Ranbu ONLINE" began service as a PC browser version in 2015, followed by the smartphone app version in 2016. As of May 2026, the cumulative user count has surpassed 15 million!

Since 2015, the musical "Touken Ranbu," and since 2016, the stage play "Touken Ranbu" have been performed. In 2016, the TV anime "Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru -" based on "Touken Ranbu ONLINE" aired, followed by "Katsugeki Touken Ranbu" in 2017.
