Supporting Creativity! Our Initiatives to Date

Ayata Printing was founded in 1932 (Showa 7) and is a printing company located in a traditional townhouse in the castle town of Osaka. While we have long focused on commercial printing, we have been actively supporting creative endeavors to "give shape" for several years.

Initiative 1: Participation in "Paper Summit," a Co-creation Manufacturing Festival for Printing Companies and Creators

We have continuously participated since the first event in 2022. Through interaction with creators mainly in the Osaka area, we explore the possibilities of printing and paper, realizing numerous collaborative works. Initiative 2: Launch of "A! Yatta Printing Factory," a Small-Lot Production Service Allowing Paper Selection

This small-lot memo production service was released in August 2025. Its appeal lies in the meticulous finishing with artisan hand-gluing. We can create manuscripts from photos or hand-drawn pictures, catering to individual novelty production and gift purposes.

The Background Behind Realizing Dreams: Inheriting the Value and Culture of Analog Tools

There are three core beliefs behind our desire to spread the "joy of creation" throughout Japan:

1. Inheriting Osaka's Printing History and Technology
   Osaka has a deep history of printing, with diverse technologies and the artisans who support them. Ayata Printing believes it has a mission to pass on the rich printing expressions and artisan skills nurtured in this history to the next generation, without being overwhelmed by the wave of efficiency.

2. Belief in the Power of "Paper," an Analog Tool that Enriches Life
   Even in today's information-saturated era, the tangible, touchable analog tool "paper" plays a part in enriching our lives. We believe that creating with paper offers an experiential value and provides emotions and memories that cannot be obtained in the digital world.
