Ayata Printing Co., Ltd. realizes everyone's desire to "shape this" through flexible and attentive service, direction, and the craftsmanship of our artisans.

Ayata Printing is not just a "printing company," but a "partner in realizing creators' dreams." We aim to support people across Japan in giving form to their inner urge to "create." Leveraging the printing technology cultivated in Osaka, our strengths lie in our meticulous responsiveness, the reliable work of our artisans, and our directorial skills in materializing our customers' visions. We strive to create a society where everyone, from professional creators to hobbyists, can equally experience high-quality manufacturing.

Supporting Creativity! Our Initiatives to Date

Ayata Printing was founded in 1932 (Showa 7) and is a printing company located in a traditional townhouse in the castle town of Osaka. While we have long focused on commercial printing, we have been actively supporting creative endeavors to "give shape" for several years.

Initiative 1: Participation in "Paper Summit," a Co-creation Manufacturing Festival for Printing Companies and Creators

We have continuously participated since the first event in 2022. Through interaction with creators mainly in the Osaka area, we explore the possibilities of printing and paper, realizing numerous collaborative works. Some of these works have been commercialized and are sold at our merchandise business, "Shichihodo." https://shichihodo.stores.jp/
We will also be exhibiting at Paper Summit 2026 on May 30th this year! https://paper-summit.com/

Initiative 2: Launch of "A! Yatta Printing Factory," a Small-Lot Production Service Allowing Paper Selection

This small-lot memo production service was released in August 2025. Its appeal lies in the meticulous finishing with artisan hand-gluing. We can create manuscripts from photos or hand-drawn pictures, catering to individual novelty production and gift purposes.

Currently, it is operated on the minne (Minee) EC site. https://minne.com/@not-silll

The Background Behind Realizing Dreams: Inheriting the Value and Culture of Analog Tools

There are three core beliefs behind our desire to spread the "joy of creation" throughout Japan:

  1. Inheriting Osaka's Printing History and Technology
Osaka has a deep history of printing, with diverse technologies and the artisans who support them. Ayata Printing believes it has a mission to pass on the rich printing expressions and artisan skills nurtured in this history to the next generation, without being overwhelmed by the wave of efficiency.

  2. Belief in the Power of "Paper," an Analog Tool that Enriches Life
Even in today's information-saturated era, the tangible, touchable analog tool "paper" plays a part in enriching our lives. We believe that creating with paper offers an experiential value and provides emotions and memories that cannot be obtained in the digital world.

  3. Aiming for Shared Joy of Creation and Growth
We want more people to experience the delicacy of Japanese craftsmanship and the joy of making things. By providing an environment where anyone can easily express their ideas as a "creator," we aim to enhance our own creativity together with everyone.

Held a memo-making workshop at Tanimachi Asobi 2025

Ayata Printing Co., Ltd. will continue to take on creative manufacturing challenges, aiming for the day we share the "Ah, I did it!" moment of inspiration with people across Japan!
