ATOMica Inc. (Headquarters: Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture; Representative Co-CEOs: Mizuki Shimada, Kazuki Nambara; hereinafter "ATOMica") has established a new business, "ATOMica AI Academy," to support AI implementation for regional small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Concurrently, as its first project, it announces the holding of a free online trial seminar titled "AI Utilization in Organizations in 2026: 90 Minutes to Learn 'The Current State of AI' and 'Introduction & Utilization in Organizations' for Business Owners and Managers," targeting SME owners, managers, and executives.
Background and Vision for Establishing "ATOMica AI Academy"
Currently, there is approximately "twice the gap (※1)" in AI utilization between large corporations and SMEs. The underlying reasons are not merely the presence or absence of tools, but deep-rooted issues such as "lack of specialized personnel" and "insufficient literacy," leaving many SMEs in a standstill, feeling the necessity of AI but unsure how to specifically integrate it into their management. (※1: Tokyo Shoko Research 2025 survey)
ATOMica deploys community managers in various locations such as co-working spaces, universities, banks, and corporate offices, and is involved in the planning and operation of these facilities. These facilities are spread across more than 60 locations nationwide, and community managers, through daily dialogues with those on the front lines of regional business, have gained insights into the actual situation of regional companies, understanding "what they expect from AI and where they stumble." Based on these voices, the "ATOMica AI Academy" will be launched for regional companies as a place to systematically learn "how to start, how to utilize, and how to connect to results." The academy will be operated by "with AI Office," a new internal ATOMica organization responsible for AI-related operations.
Through this academy, we aim to support AI implementation in all business processes within organizations, from dramatic improvements in productivity to customer acquisition (marketing), recruitment, public relations, and even the formulation of management strategies. We aim to directly contribute to the regional economy and increase the number of organizations that achieve next-generation management with AI as their weapon.
