Tokyu Corporation (hereinafter, Tokyu) and At Home Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, At Home) concluded a business alliance agreement (hereinafter, this alliance) on May 13, 2026 (Wednesday), regarding Tokyu's subscription accommodation service "Tsugitsugi" and At Home's town-walking content app "Hizakurige." Through this alliance, the two companies aim to connect town-walking experiences with accommodation, leveraging their efforts in fostering connections with local communities. Starting today, a system will be launched allowing "Mon" points earned through "Hizakurige" to be exchanged for "Tsugitsugi" accommodation points.

● About "Tsugitsugi"

"Tsugitsugi" is a subscription-based accommodation service provided by Tokyu, where users purchase accommodation points monthly and can freely choose to stay at over 450 affiliated hotels nationwide*. It offers three plans (2 nights, 5 nights, 14 nights), and a significant feature is that one accompanying person stays free in all plans, making it ideal for couples, parents and children, or friends to stay together. *As of May 13, 2026 (Wednesday).

● About "Hizakurige"

"Hizakurige" is a free app provided by At Home with the concept of "Ordinary roads become entertainment." Users can earn "Mon" points through town-walking and app usage, which can then be exchanged for various products. Additionally, it features "Original Magazines" introducing unique history and local culture, and GPS-linked "Audio Guides" that tell local stories, offering content to enhance town-walking enjoyment. It is a service that promotes communication between regions and users, and among users themselves.

● About this Alliance

Through this alliance, users will be able to exchange "Mon" points within "Hizakurige" for "Tsugitsugi" accommodation points. The exchange rate is 500 Mon = 1 "Tsugitsugi" accommodation point, and 10 "Tsugitsugi" accommodation points allow for a one-night stay. The initial target route is the "Tokaido Gojusan-tsugi" route within "Hizakurige." Moving forward, the routes where accumulated "Mon" can be exchanged for "Tsugitsugi" accommodation points will be expanded sequentially. By connecting the town-walking experiences generated by "Hizakurige" with the regional stay system provided by "Tsugitsugi," the aim is to broaden a travel style where one starts from accommodation, walks into the town, enjoys discovering its history, culture, and encounters with people, and wishes to stay again. This will create a cycle leading to repeat visits, promoting regional circulation, enhancing the value of stays, and creating opportunities for re-visitation.

Furthermore, to commemorate the launch of this alliance, a limited-time campaign will be held from May 13, 2026 (Wednesday) to December 31, 2026 (Thursday), allowing points to be exchanged at a special rate of 300 Mon = 1 "Tsugitsugi" accommodation point.

In recent years, with the recovery of tourism demand, many tourist destinations have regained their vibrancy. However, challenges remain, such as travel styles limited to short stops and concentration in specific areas. In this context, there is a growing demand for travel that allows for a deeper understanding and enjoyment of regions by combining experiences of walking and discovering local attractions with experiences of staying in those regions.

Tokyu has positioned "urban development" through transportation, real estate, and lifestyle services as the core of its business, promoting initiatives to create human flow in regions. At Home, based on its real estate information services, has been developing initiatives to foster connections with regions and promote regional co-creation. By leveraging the efforts of both companies in creating regional connections, this alliance, which connects town-walking experiences with accommodation, will link the discovery of regional charm through town-walking with the stay experience through accommodation, thereby promoting the continuous building of relationships with regions. Moving forward, both companies will continue to promote initiatives that lead to increased visits to regions, expansion of related populations, and regional revitalization through the creation of new regional experiences combining town-walking and accommodation.

Background

In recent years, with the recovery of tourism demand, many tourist destinations have regained their vibrancy. However, travel styles limited to short stops and concentration in specific tourist spots are also observed. In such circumstances, to enjoy a region more deeply, it is important to combine the experience of walking and discovering its attractions with the experience of staying in that region.

"Hizakurige" is a service based on the concept of "Ordinary roads become entertainment," allowing users to enjoy the history, culture, and encounters with people in a town while walking. By walking through towns, it offers an experience of touching upon the daily life and charm of the region, not just tourist spots.

"Tsugitsugi" is a subscription-based accommodation service that allows users to freely choose and stay at accommodations nationwide according to their convenience and mood. By providing opportunities to stay in regions, it proposes a new way to enjoy accommodation that extends the duration of stays at travel destinations and deepens connections with regions.
