Hotel Associa Toyohashi (Hanada-cho, Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture; General Manager: Masakazu Nakagawa) will host an event called 'Dim Sum x Early Summer Chinese Tea Party' on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the 5th-floor banquet hall 'The Patio,' where guests can easily enjoy the charm of Chinese tea. In addition to a seminar by a Chinese tea instructor from Meizan Tea Industry Co., Ltd. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuko Sunaoshi), the event will feature a demonstration of dim sum wrapping by our hotel's Hong Kong dim sum chef, as well as a hands-on dim sum making experience. In the second half, a tea party will be held where guests can leisurely enjoy popular dim sum from 'Rinka' and Chinese tea. This event is recommended not only for Chinese tea lovers and those who enjoy tea events and seminars, but also for those who are 'a little interested in Chinese tea' or 'want to try making dim sum.' In the first half, the instructor will clearly introduce the types of Chinese tea, differences in aroma, and delicious brewing methods. You can experience the profound charm of Chinese tea while actually tasting it. In the second half, Hong Kong dim sum chef Liao Guoxiong will perform a demonstration of dim sum wrapping. A dim sum chef is a craftsman specializing in making dim sum such as xiao long bao and shumai. You can watch the delicate wrapping techniques cultivated in Hong Kong up close and also try making dim sum yourself.
