From March 28, 2026, a Grand Opening Exhibition by Karin Hosono, Shotaro Sanada, and YU SORA will be held. The exhibition space will be unveiled for the first time ahead of the public opening.

The Chain Museum Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Masamichi Toyama), which operates "ArtSticker," will plan the grand opening exhibition to celebrate the launch of "Starbucks Cafe & Art Gallery Yanaka Gotenzaka," which will open in Yanaka, Tokyo.

The grand opening exhibition, held from March 28, 2026, will feature new works by three notable young artists (Karin Hosono, Shotaro Sanada, YU SORA), who depict landscapes and atmosphere with their unique perspectives, with the theme of "Yanaka."

All exhibited works will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis on ArtSticker starting at 9:30 PM on March 27, 2026. Please note that some works may be sold out depending on the pre-sale situation.

[Grand Opening Exhibition] Karin Hosono + Shotaro Sanada + YU SORA 3-Person Exhibition

A three-person exhibition by artists Karin Hosono, Shotaro Sanada, and YU SORA, marking the memorable grand opening of "Starbucks Cafe & Art Gallery Yanaka Gotenzaka," will be held from March 28, 2026 (Saturday) in conjunction with the grand opening.

Karin Hosono was born in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 2002 and will graduate from Tama Art University, Department of Fine Arts, Painting Course (Oil Painting) in 2025. She has consistently painted cats since childhood, and creates works aiming for "120% cats that are more cat-like than cats" using a unique touch based on repeated observation.

Shotaro Sanada was born in 2000. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, he is currently enrolled in the Master's program at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo. He continues to create works with the theme of "creating new landscapes" by abstracting real landscapes to the extreme. He also explores the concept of "creativity" in painting, such as expanding expression through co-creation with AI.

YU SORA was born in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea in 1987. She completed her Master's program in Sculpture at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2020. Based in Japan and South Korea, she creates spaces that question what the everyday is, through three-dimensional and two-dimensional works that record everyday scenes by embroidering black thread onto soft white fabric, with the theme of the everyday and trivial moments that can be suddenly lost due to disasters or accidents.
