Artist Kumi Kaguraoka exhibited her work on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the foyer of the venue for the Art Fair Tokyo official talk program 'Dialogue: ASK ART, WHY?', held at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu Innovation Field.

Kumi Kaguraoka is an artist who creates research-based artworks that capture beauty within historical and cultural contexts and examine its evolution. In this exhibition as well, works proposing new forms of 'beauty' were presented, building upon the accumulation of past aesthetic values.

This exhibition was installed in the foyer space, the first area visitors pass through, designed to serve as a starting point for contemplation simultaneously with their entry to the venue. By encountering the artwork from the moment many attendees stepped into the venue, an opportunity was created for them to re-examine 'beauty' from their respective viewpoints.

Furthermore, this exhibition was connected to the talk session where Kaguraoka appeared as a speaker at the same venue...
