Advantage Risk Management Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of "Return to Work Support Counseling" as a standalone service, previously offered as part of the "Advantage Counseling" package. This service aims to provide support for stable continued employment.
The increase in employees taking leaves of absence due to mental health issues and subsequent re-absences has become a challenge for both employees and companies. Even after recovering their work performance and successfully returning to the workplace, many cases result in relapse into poor health and a second leave of absence within a few months.
To minimize the risk of re-absences and provide effective services for return to work, our company has been offering return-to-work support through the corporate online re-work program "eRework" based on cognitive behavioral therapy, and the face-to-face re-work facility "Advantage Rework & Job Center" for individual employees. Stable employment after returning to work is desired not only by the individual but also by the company.
To enable continuous follow-up not only during the preparation period for return to work but also after returning to work, we have decided to offer "Return to Work Support Counseling," previously a package menu item of "Advantage Counseling," as a standalone service. To make it easier for many clients to introduce according to their needs, contracts are possible for as few as one employee. This service is provided by professional counselors who offer advice on improving lifestyle rhythms and stress management techniques to support a smooth return to the workplace and stable continued employment. Companies that have already introduced the service have praised it for "providing support that emphasizes the individual challenges of the employee (such as their way of thinking and behavioral habits)" and "offering support from counselors with expertise and skills in mental health and stress." It is being utilized as one of the solutions to address situations difficult to handle with internal resources and for future support. We have also newly established a "Post-Return Follow-up" plan, a menu targeting users of our re-work program, which can be used for six months after returning to work.
Program Features Target Audience: Employees currently on leave of absence due to mental health issues or those who have returned to work. *Introduction is possible for one person/separate detailed conditions apply. Duration: Full term (from the treating physician's judgment of readiness for return to work up to 6 months after return) or Post-Return Follow-up (from return to work up to 6 months). Features: ・Support Based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Identifies patterns that individuals tend to fall into, such as ways of thinking and behavioral habits that lead to mental health issues. Furthermore, it emphasizes a process where the individual reflects on past situations and behaviors to devise their own improvement strategies, aiming to prevent the recurrence of mental health issues.
・Employment Retention Support Qualified mental health professionals provide support to help employees establish coping behaviors for relapse prevention, while monitoring their physical condition and workload changes after returning to work.
・Collaboration with Corporate HR Departments A system is in place to share regular progress reports with HR departments, allowing them to monitor the status.
