## Background and Reasons for Participation
The Company operates under the philosophy of "Supporting Choshi, a town aiming to be No. 1 in agricultural and fishery industry experiences," and as a regional trading company in Choshi City, it develops regional revitalization projects, tourism projects, and creative projects.
Representative Sakao has been managing "Hennery Farm" as a 12th-generation farmer in Choshi City, working on community development that integrates agriculture with tourism and entertainment, with the slogan "Agriculture is cool," through the production of branded vegetables "Afro Corn" and "Afro Cabbage" and the provision of agricultural experiences.
The "Pokemaru Oyako Regional Study Abroad" is a program designed to create "relationship populations" where parents and children from urban areas stay in a rural area for one week, with children participating in nature experience activities and parents engaging in telework and local exchange.
Choshi has long been called "Edo's kitchen" and is a treasure trove of food blessed with abundant seafood and agricultural products. It boasts many unique attractions, including marine delicacies like kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) and Ise ebi (spiny lobster), agricultural products such as corn and cabbage grown in its warm climate, and even the traditional culture of soy sauce brewing. With the desire to deliver the "authentic food" unique to this region to families and to create new "relationship populations" connecting Choshi with urban families, the Company decided to participate in this program.
