Enriching the World, Even if Only a Little, Through Design

Arcty Inc. is engaged in activities to enrich people's hearts, even if only a little, through the operation of its design business, "Hibiya Design." We endorse April Dream, a project by PR TIMES that aims to make April 1st a day for companies to announce their dreams. This press release is Arcty Inc.'s dream. Background of the Dream Having been involved in design production for over 10 years, even before the establishment of Hibiya Design, what I strongly feel every day is the question, "What is true design?" Design, in a single word, is expressed in various fields such as architecture, space, clothing, graphics, engineering, games, and events. Through this, I came to realize that the common core is design, and its essence is, after all, to create richness, even if only a little, through the existence of that design. Hibiya Design's goal is to spread such richness more widely to the world. First Step: Holding an Exhibition Towards the realization of this dream, last year, we held an exhibition themed on Yokai (Japanese supernatural beings) titled "Hyakki Yagyo: Nini Aizawa's Yokai Emaki." This Yokai series, titled "Japanese Yokai Series," had been accumulated over more than 10 years, and the exhibition also served as a commemoration of 100 types and 10 years. After that, we held several other exhibitions and participated in events as part of our 10th Anniversary Year. Many people enjoyed it, and we received numerous positive reactions during the exhibition period and on social media, making us realize that we were able to create richness through the theme of Yokai. Moving Forward with More Activities While continuing our activities related to Yokai, we felt the need to return to our origins and promote design that truly enriches people's hearts. To deliver richness to even more people, we plan to expand our approach in various directions, including considering overseas expansion. "To enrich the world, even if only a little, through design." We will not forget this dream and will continue our activities. "April Dream" is a project by PR TIMES where companies announce their dreams that they wish to achieve on April 1st.
