Arc'teryx, a leader in the evolution of outdoor products with its industry-redefining technological innovations, is set to release the SYLAN 2. Following the debut of the first SYLAN trail running shoe in the Spring/Summer 2024 collection, this new version is based on athlete feedback to prioritize speed and efficiency. The "SYLAN 2 (Shiran 2)", which focuses on propulsion, high rebound, and lightness—achieving a 20g weight reduction—will be available at brand stores and the official online store starting Thursday, March 26th.

The "SYLAN 2" offers improvements in lightness, stability, hold, and breathability. It is the optimal trail running shoe for runners dedicated to speed and efficiency, designed for trail races and for those aiming to set their fastest times on specific courses. A rocker-shaped midsole provides powerful propulsion, supporting the movement from landing to toe-off. Its high-rebound special foam maximizes energy return, reducing fatigue and enabling a high pace all day to support the peak performance of mountain runners.
Furthermore, the new addition of a carbon fiber composite plate improves stability, allowing for confident sprints even on rugged terrain. The outsole lugs deliver optimal trail traction and shed excess mud.
