Arc'teryx continues to lead the evolution of outdoor products through technological innovations that redefine industry standards. Following the initial release of the "SYLAN" trail running shoe in the Spring/Summer 2024 collection, the brand is now introducing the "SYLAN 2." Developed based on athlete feedback with a focus on speed efficiency, propulsion, high energy return, and lightweight design, the SYLAN 2 is 20g lighter than the original. It will be available at brand stores and the official online store starting Thursday, March 26th.

The SYLAN 2 offers improved lightweight performance, stability, foothold, and breathability compared to the previous model. Designed for runners aiming for personal bests in trail races and on specific courses, it is the perfect choice for those who prioritize speed and efficiency. The rocker-shaped midsole delivers high propulsion, supporting the transition from landing to toe-off. A high-rebound specialized foam maximizes energy return to reduce fatigue, helping runners maintain a high pace throughout the day and achieve peak performance in the mountains.
Additionally, the inclusion of a new carbon fiber composite plate enhances stability, allowing for confident sprinting on undulating terrain. The outsole lugs provide optimal traction for trails while effectively shedding excess mud.
Key Features

■ Upper
A specially shaped jacquard knit made from an ultra-lightweight blend of nylon, TPU, and TPE achieves both weight reduction and increased strength. Added TPU film further enhances durability and protection. While retaining the knit collar structure of the original SYLAN, the updated flat-knit tongue provides a secure fit and improved breathability for better comfort and performance.
