ARCH Adds Lark Integration to Open-Source AI Agent Environment 'MisterMorph'

ARCH Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Yonglong Wei) has added functionality to its open-source AI agent execution environment, 'MisterMorph,' allowing users to execute AI agents directly from Lark chats.

This update enables users to request AI agents from individual or group chats on Lark for tasks such as research requests, image-based questioning, document image verification, and sending files, images, or voice messages. Along with Slack and Telegram, users can now utilize the same MisterMorph agent execution engine across multiple chat environments.

MisterMorph is developed as an open-source execution environment that goes beyond single-turn chat responses, allowing for use via consoles and various chat integrations. This Lark integration expands the entry points for using AI agents within team conversations.

Users can call AI agents from Lark personal or group chats. It supports message input containing images, as well as sending files, images, and voice messages, and reacting to received messages.

In group chats, conditions for invoking the AI agent can be customized according to the team's needs, allowing for flexible adjustment rather than constant interaction.

MisterMorph uses a common agent execution foundation for chat integrations such as Telegram, Slack, and Lark. Each chat integration receives messages and passes them to the MisterMorph execution engine. This allows the same execution foundation to be deployed across multiple chat environments without requiring separate AI agents for each platform.

Lark integration assumes the use of custom internal Lark apps. Setup requires creating a Lark app and configuring permissions for bot functionality, message receipt, sending/replying, handling images/files, and message reactions.

MisterMorph receives events via Lark's official long-term connection method rather than public callback URLs, allowing event reception without requiring a public URL. Initial support excludes cards, rich text post bodies, generic file viewing, and videos.
