Last year, Kunio Oda, a Special Professor at Reitaku University and former Air Self-Defense Force General, received the Grand Prize (Toshie Fuji Award) for his essay "Hints for Japan's Revival Lie in SDF Education."

This year too, we are widely soliciting essays that, based on truths buried in history, unravel the transitions of international affairs in the context of Japan's relations with various foreign countries such as Europe, America, and Asia, from modern times to the present day, and compile proposals useful for revitalizing Japan with a unique view of modern history.
