Aoki Supermarket Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President and CEO: Toshimichi Aoki; hereinafter 'Aoki Supermarket') will introduce Anthropic's generative AI 'Claude Pro' to approximately 50 accounts, primarily at its headquarters and among procurement staff, aiming to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Prior to the implementation, Aoki Supermarket collaborated with TENHO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and Co-Representative: Makoto Tamura, Tatsuya Tsuchida; hereinafter 'TENHO') and confirmed the utility and practicality of generative AI through the 'AI Leadership Development Program' conducted from March to May 2026. Based on these results, the company has decided to adopt 'Claude Pro' and officially launch company-wide AI utilization.
[Background of Implementation]
Since October 2024, Aoki Supermarket has been located at 'STATION Ai,' an open innovation hub in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. Sharing the same floor and adjacent seats with TENHO, which also resides at the hub, Aoki initiated a 'Generative AI Utilization Workshop' in September 2025. From March to May 2026, a three-month 'AI Leadership Development Program' was conducted, led by the HR department. This program went beyond merely learning how to operate generative AI tools; it included knowledge acquisition and hands-on efforts to identify operational challenges and design, build, and validate AI applications.
During the program, various generative AI tools, including 'Claude,' were utilized to verify solutions for internal challenges and productivity improvements. As a result, after comprehensive evaluation of factors such as operational compatibility, the company decided to adopt Anthropic's 'Claude Pro.'
