Anime Series "Demon's Crest" to Stream Exclusively Worldwide on Prime Video Starting November 6 (Fri)

Prime Video will exclusively stream the anime series "Demon's Crest" worldwide starting November 6, 2026 (Fri).

"Demon's Crest" is a completely new work set in the world of MR (Mixed Reality) by Reki Kawahara, the author of "Sword Art Online" and "Accel World." The original work, which began serialization in "Dengeki Bunko" (published by KADOKAWA) in 2022, has been adapted into an anime and will be delivered to customers worldwide on Prime Video. Additionally, the series' key visual and first promotional video have also been released.

The first PV, released this time, begins by showing Yuma Ashihara and others enjoying the world of "Actual Magic (AM)." When the scene returns to the real world, the atmosphere changes completely. In a world where "reality" and "game" have become intertwined, monsters that should not exist in the real world attack Yuma and his friends. Midway through, Ado's upbeat song "Shinka," chosen as the opening theme, begins to play. What kind of trials await Yuma and his friends? Please look forward to it.

Yuma, whom I play, is a kind-hearted child who cherishes those around him. He is a very reliable presence in the serious battle scenes, but I find his occasional absent-mindedness to be quite endearing.

To be honest, this is my first time playing a male protagonist, so when I was told "Yuma passed the audition," I was surprised and incredibly happy!

I want to do my best as Yuma to immerse everyone who is looking forward to the anime into the thrilling story, so please give me your support!

I am Kou Inagaki, playing the role of Sawa Ashihara!

I had been following Reki Kawahara's works since before I aspired to be a voice actor, so when I received the audition offer, I was filled with joy and emotion, thinking, "Finally! I can audition for a Reki Kawahara anime work!"

So, I was very happy to be able to participate this time!

Konken is a mischievous boy, a bright character you'd want to have in your class or among your friends!

His straightforwardness, innocence, and chivalry!

I am working hard on the voice acting to convey all his charms!

We don't know the full extent of the future developments either, so we approach each recording session with excitement and anticipation!

I will be playing the role of Minagi Chanono. This is Satomi Amano.

From the first time I read the work, I was constantly thrilled by the dense world of this death game, which unfolds as each unique classmate is given the spotlight. I am truly honored to be able to be involved in this project.

Minagi-chan is, for me, the "ideal girl." She is cute and has a vulnerability that makes you want to protect her, but she also has a strong core that allows her to clearly express her feelings. I will cherish and portray her as a straightforward and relatable character.

"Shinka" was written by the Vocaloid producer Yurii Kannon.

It's about facing various anxieties and conflicts, such as "reality" and "game" intertwining, where true feelings lie, and what is an illusion and what is real, but still moving forward with belief.
