Amana Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Goaki Kaneko; hereafter 'Amana'), which realizes communication transformation through creative efforts, handled the planning and production of Sysmex Corporation's (Headquarters: Kobe, Hyogo; Chairman: Hisashi Ietsugu; President: Kaoru Matsui; hereafter 'Sysmex') campaign, 'Blood Trivia You'll Want to Share.' The campaign received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 47th 'Japan BtoB Advertising Awards' (organized by the Japan BtoB Advertising Association).
This campaign is a series of advertisements that present knowledge about blood from an angle that makes people 'want to share it with someone.' It was recognized for utilizing everyday spaces, such as train advertising, to create touchpoints with many consumers.
About 'Blood Trivia You'll Want to Share'
Sysmex is a global healthcare company operating in over 190 countries and regions, focusing on clinical testing such as blood and urine analysis. Since commercializing the first automated hematology analyzer as a Japanese company in 1963, it has supported the evolution of blood testing for over 50 years.
However, while 'blood' and 'testing' are deeply connected to health, people rarely think about them in their daily lives. Therefore, this campaign aimed to create opportunities for people to become interested in blood and testing through 'blood trivia' that makes them want to share it. By aligning with periods of increased awareness, such as 'Blood Donation Day' on August 21, it provided a communication experience that could be easily learned while commuting on trains.
