Nippon Columbia Group and amana Produce Koki Nakamura's "Next Trad," Fusing Traditional Music with AI Visual Expression

Amana Inc.'s specialized AI organization, A³, has partnered with Nippon Columbia Group Inc. (NCG) to create the artist branding movie "Next Trad" for folk singer and Tsugaru-shamisen player Koki Nakamura. This video work combines traditional Japanese music with AI visual expression, blending live-action performance and singing by Nakamura with AI-generated visuals to depict a worldview spanning the "past, present, and future." The project is a joint effort to explore new possibilities in AI-driven video production, where NCG's expertise in music and artist production meets A³'s advancements in AI-based creative development.
