Collaboration on Asset Management Business
Mizuho FG, Asset Management One, and SPARX AM collaborate on Indian equity management, aiming to strengthen investment capabilities.

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (President & CEO: Masahiro Kihara), Asset Management One Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Noriyuki Sugihara, hereinafter "Asset Management One"), and SPARX Asset Management Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Shuhei Abe, hereinafter "SPARX AM"), a subsidiary of SPARX Group Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Shuhei Abe), have concluded a "Collaboration Agreement" (hereinafter "this Agreement") with the aim of developing Japan's asset management business and strengthening investment capabilities.
Based on this Agreement, the three companies aim to provide high value-added asset management services and products to Japanese investors.
SPARX AM has successfully applied its long-cultivated investment philosophy and know-how in Japanese equities to foreign equity management, particularly in Asia, and will newly launch Indian equity management (hereinafter "the Management") from fiscal year 2025. Asset Management One, on the other hand, offers a diverse range of investment services, from traditional assets to alternative products, to a wide range of investors. In this collaboration, Mizuho will contribute seed capital to the Management, and SPARX AM and Asset Management One will work to enhance their investment capabilities by sharing their respective expertise and strengths through the Management.
Going forward, the three companies will steadily advance their collaboration based on this Agreement through cooperation in the development and sales of new investment products and personnel exchanges, thereby providing better investment opportunities and contributing to customers' long-term asset formation and the realization of Japan as an asset management nation.
