Key Points of This Release:

* Two episodes depicting daily peace of mind (monitoring / preventing forgotten items) from the perspective of a guard dog that "wants to protect its family." * Clearly expresses the features of HOME ALSOK Connect, such as the "Emergency Button" and "Smartphone Gate." * ALSOK character "Nyalsok (Aruru)" makes its first co-appearance with Mr. Matsuyama in the final scene.

Background of the Commercials:

Since April 2025, ALSOK has been promoting its personal security service "HOME ALSOK Connect" by appointing actor Kenichi Matsuyama as the image character for the ALSOK brand.

Since July 16, 2025, when the company name was changed to commemorate its 60th anniversary, ALSOK has been developing brand communication under the message "ALwayS OK," expressing its "evolution into a company that solves various challenges for customers and society, not limited to security."

In these new commercials, through a "pet's (guard dog's) perspective," we have created content that allows viewers to feel the value of HOME ALSOK Connect, which supports family "safety and security" by addressing small daily anxieties such as monitoring and preventing forgotten smartphones, in a more familiar way.

CM Story:

The new commercials, following last year's series, are set with Kenichi Matsuyama visiting a home that has installed "HOME ALSOK Connect" to inquire about the reasons for its introduction and the family's impressions.

However, this time, the home Mr. Matsuyama visits already has a "highly conscious security officer" – a guard dog. Please pay attention to the conversation between Mr. Matsuyama and the guard dog, who is both a companion and a rival, regarding the introduction of ALSOK.

Furthermore, ALSOK's character Nyalsok, "Aruru," also makes its first co-appearance with Mr. Matsuyama in the final shot, striking the pose "Here, ALwayS OK."

● Dog and Monitoring Episode

Kenichi Matsuyama visits a home where a couple lives. There, a highly conscious guard dog with a strong sense of mission, believing "it's my job to protect the family," resides. The guard dog says, "At first, I was against the introduction of [ALSOK]." This was because it believed that protecting the family was its own duty and there was no need to rely on home security. However, as the conversation progresses, the guard dog reveals its true feelings.

It had actually been worried all along about Mom being home alone while Dad was out for a walk.

With the introduction of "HOME ALSOK Connect" and the installation of an emergency button, Mom can now feel safe even when alone, and the dog can go for walks with peace of mind. When Mr. Matsuyama asks, "Is there an option to forgo walks...?" the guard dog, whose calm demeanor suddenly vanishes, vehemently asserts, "Unthinkable!" leaving Mr. Matsuyama flustered.

The guard dog has gained both "family peace of mind" and "precious daily life."

The commercial concludes with the phrase "Here, ALwayS OK ALSOK."

● Dog and Smartphone Gate Episode

While the guard dog was against the introduction of ALSOK in the previous episode, this one begins with a complete turnaround: "I was in favor from a dog's perspective."

Mom, who is forgetful, often leaves home without her smartphone. The guard dog desperately barks at the entrance to alert her, but its actions are mistaken for signs of affection, and Mom just pets it. The guard dog confides in Mr. Matsuyama that it felt powerless about this.

Mr. Matsuyama also comments, "You're quite the spoiled one." Then, the guard dog, again losing its calm demeanor, vehemently retorts, "I was telling you you forgot your phone!" leaving Mr. Matsuyama flustered once more.

Eventually, a "Smartphone Gate" is installed, and Mom starts noticing when she forgets her smartphone when going out, bringing a relieved expression to the guard dog's face.

The commercial ends with the phrase "Here, ALwayS OK ALSOK."

Throughout both episodes, the content is designed to make viewers feel the value of "safety and security" provided by HOME ALSOK Connect more intimately, by addressing small daily anxieties from a guard dog's perspective.

About HOME ALSOK Connect:

Protecting families and homes. From long outings to short trips, and even while at home. Our latest security system monitors your residence 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and in the event of an emergency, ALSOK personnel will respond promptly.

● Two Security Plans

* Online Security Utilizes a centralized management system built with the latest technology to monitor abnormal situations. When various sensors detect abnormalities such as intrusion or fire, a signal is sent to the guard center, which immediately dispatches ALSOK personnel. * Self-Security When sensors detect an abnormality, a notification is sent to the customer's smartphone, allowing the customer to confirm the situation themselves. If necessary, the customer can request ALSOK for an "on-demand dispatch," and ALSOK personnel will respond.

● Smartphone Gate

This is the operating device for "HOME ALSOK Connect." It is an ALSOK-exclusive feature that authenticates your smartphone, automatically disarming security when you return home, and starting security with a single touch when you go out. It also notifies you if you forget your smartphone when leaving.

● Emergency Button

Pressing this button sends a notification when you feel in danger or need assistance.

Kenichi Matsuyama Interview / Profile:

Q1: Please share your thoughts on completing the CM shoot. A1: In the previous CM, the setting was an interview with the homeowners, meaning those who had installed ALSOK. This time, it was a co-starring role with a dog. Actually, a boy played the role of the guard dog, and we filmed all scenes together with him. I had a very strange feeling during the shoot.

The worries and thoughts of the father and mother, seen from the dog's perspective, came out one after another as the guard dog's words. There were many moments where I felt, "This is how they think about their family," and I think it was a very unique and interesting shoot.

Q2: Were there any particular parts you focused on or found difficult? A2: The boy in front of me was adorable, but the setting was a "guard dog that has been protecting its owner all along." Since people and dogs have different values and ways of thinking, there were honestly parts where I wasn't sure how much we could understand each other. However, the lines were very interesting, and I acted with the awareness of discussing "protecting the home" on an equal footing, rather than presuming "a dog would be like this." As a result, I think we achieved a natural interaction, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished commercial.

Q3: What points in the commercial would you particularly like viewers to pay attention to? A3: We brought out the feelings of the guard dog, who has been protecting its owner all along, and its love for its family through the interview. I would definitely like viewers to watch with attention to the guard dog's feelings. Also, I would be happy if this commercial conveys that ALSOK, just like the guard dog, is a presence that protects everyone's "safety and security."

Q4: Please share your thoughts on your second year with ALSOK. A4: It's my second year working with ALSOK, and I'm once again feeling the depth of the word "protect." It's not just about preventing something; it's about supporting the peaceful daily life that lies beyond, which I believe is the true meaning of "protecting."

It's because someone is protecting them that people can immerse themselves in what they want to do. In this second year, I want to deliver the "peace of mind" that is invisible but certainly there, more powerfully through my own presence.

Q5: Please tell us about moments when you usually feel a sense of "security." A5: Every day has various missions, and when I complete all of them, I feel a sense of relief and security. After that, it becomes my own time, so that's the most calming moment.

The demands vary depending on the role; recently, I've played various roles such as a pastry chef, a judge, and a sushi chef. For a sushi chef, it's not just about making sushi but also about filleting fish, so there's really a lot to learn. The moment I successfully complete such daily missions is when I feel the most secure.

Q6: What are you currently into, Mr. Matsuyama? A6: For the past few years, I've been into making things myself. When I'm in the countryside, I process wood in the garage and make various things; it's what you call DIY. Even when I'm filming in Tokyo, I find places where I can do DIY during breaks and create things with the staff, discussing "this and that." That's my greatest pleasure right now.

Q7: Please tell us if there's anything you'd like to challenge in the future. A7: This year is my unlucky year (yakudoshi), but I consider it my "role year" (yakudoshi, using a different kanji for 'role'). As an actor, I want to go to as many sets as possible and confront my roles. I expect busy days, but I want to take care of my physical and mental health to avoid getting sick and run through this year and the following unlucky year (ato-yakudoshi) strongly.
